The main protagonist. Sara is trying to navigate through her senior year of high school in a new school, Southside Christian, and balancing the new friendships she has forged.

 

 

 

 

Michael McKenzie

One of Sara’s closest friends. Michael also plays guitar on the church worship team and in his own band with a couple of his other friends.

 

 

 

 

LaShonda Williams

Another of Sara’s friends. LaShonda sometimes teases Sara and often speaks her mind.

 

 

 

 

Danielle Deegan

Danielle is the first person Sara meets at her high school, Southside Christian. Danielle supports Sara and is occasionally involved with LaShonda’s shenanigans.

 

 

 

 

 

Delilah Morgan

One of Sara’s closest friends. Delilah has wisdom beyond her years and is found giving Sara relationship advice, whether it’s good or bad.

 

 

 

 

 

Joslyn Hermonio

Sara’s older sister. Joslyn is in college, but she keeps in touch with Sara, and cheers her on through her last year of high school.

 

 

 

 

 

Derek Swanson

Derek is another member of the friend group that Sara was welcomed into. He and Delilah have developed a very interesting friendship throughout high school.

 

 

 

 

 

Mandy Smith

Mandy is Michael’s ex-girlfriend. She and Michael have developed an interesting friendship during their senior year.
