“Christian” church culture expects young men and women to marry by a certain age. Many make an idol of this institution and end up “trapped” in a relationship they truly don’t need/want in their life. It is okay (and maybe better) to hold out for someone better in the future than the “he’ll do” ones in the present. Just like it’s normal to be married and happy, it’s normal to be single and happy.
